Family Tree at ancestry.de : Krull und Schippmann aus Mecklenburg

Unfortunately, ancestry.de is not a free site so we only get to see
the names, no other information.

Hello Hans Juergen,

Thank you. Yes, I can see my ancestors on the Hamburg list! Interestingly once I happened to find a listing of some 1000 emigrants' petitions to emigrate from the Altkoster-Buxtehude region and this was ONLINE for free. It gave detailed paragraphs on my ancestors and why they wanted to emigrate and where they planned to go. I can't seem to find in on the internet now ! I should have saved the link.

Best wishes, Pam

Hi John,

I have access to Ancestry.com if you want me to try to find your ancestors details on the Hamburg List. If you know the date of departure and the ship that helps.

Best wishes, Pam

Thanks, I have full access to ancestry.com, too. Ancestry.de is a
different thing, though.

John

Hi John,

Ancestry.com does have the handwritten Hamburg passenger logs, that would give you any details that would have. I thought you were looking for more details than the list you saw on the Hamburg Datenbank. What is available on Ancestry.de that is not on Ancestry.com? I was under the assumption that my membership to Ancestry.com gave me full interantional access. I am curious to know if there is something else out there.

Thanks, Pam

Pam,
With the World Deluxe membership on Ancestry, you get everything. If
someone only has a country specific membership, they don't get it all.

Pam, I access ancestry.com at the public library. I do not believe
that gives me access to ancestry.de. I wish that it did because there
are family trees there that I would like to at least view but cannot.

John

John,
I believe that family trees are not in the library edition of Ancestry.
   Cheryl

No, but at least I have access to other researchers. Ancestry.de won't
even give you that without paying.

John
