Glandorf

Hi Dale:
Barbara just gave you another good source. Also you have given the
first name of both your ggf and gggf. Those two first names will help,
except they may not be their first names but their commonly used
names. You said he was born Dec 13th, 1854 and came to the States. Do
you mean that he came to the States that same year or maybe at some
later time? The time of emmigration would help to search the source
   Barbara suggested.
Question Barbara: Can Dale search a number of years on
[1]http://aidaonline.niedersachsen.de/ using the first names of
Theodore and/or Bernhart? Also, do you think Theodore would have been
a given German name used at that time?
   Gale

His name was Theodore (Parker) Born Dec 13th 1854. Fathers first
     name of
Bernhart?? Mothers name was Mary Nemann??
     Thanks!
     Dale

He was born in 1854. I don't know when he came to the U.S. I was told he came over to escape fighting in Prussia.
I went to CastleGarden.org and found a Theodor Pauk who came here in 1871 and was a farmer (which he was) and was 17 yrs old. He didn't turn 18 until Dec. and arrived here in May. Hmmm. Maybe.
