Dear Rita,
Probobly not helpful. Came upon a bio of a Henry Gieselman in a book titled:
Biographical Review of DesMoines, Iowa.
It mentions this Henry Gieselman was born in March 1842. His father name Frederick William and mother is Anna Catherina (Nieimeier) Gieselman.
The biography mentions birthplace Westphalia, Prussia, Germany.
Mentions coming to America circa 1853. Firstly to Saint Louis.
Latter Barrington Township, Iowa. Flint River Iowa.
There are lots of visible Gieselmann records listed at the Missouri State Archives website. Quite many. Would be time-consuming..but interesting to see if any mention Illinois or Iowa as birth places. Or Illinois or Iowa as burial places.

P.S. Can send pdf copy of data if you are interested.
Thank you for your effort, but this is not my Gieselmann family.
There should be a passenger list showing several Gieselmann brothers and
wives and children on the same ship. !836-1840.
Thanks again

Klaus, thank you for replying. Of course we can stay in touch searching for
the Gieselmann family. Although the names you posted are not familar with
the notes I have.
Family lore says my Gieselmann's come from the Munich area,(something about
grapes for wine) ,but they were farmers
as far asI know. They also arrived in New York, got seperated and my line
ended in southern Indiana.
I hope I can help you in some way.

Klaus, have you ordered a copy of henrietta's death certificate,I have the
order number.Maybe it would give her place of birth and her parents names.
What do you think. The cost is$10.00 US. According to the information I
think she died in child birth, as there was listed a Arno Vahlbruch 1 day
old.
It seems they died 3 or 4 days apart in 1900.
