Germans in Lithuania

I have read the article [OWP] Germans in Lithuania, and found it to be quite
interesting. It was only by chance that I came upon it while surfing the net
trying to find out where the town of Shellelen was located. My grandfather was
born there and I'm working on our Family Tree and would like to enter this
information after I am sure of the country in which Shellelen was located. My
grandfather's name was Waldemar Adam Böuttner (Bittner) and he married Olga Lange
in the year 1906 in the town of Kowna? (Russia?). I would appreciate any
information that may be available.

Could be SCHILLEHLEN in Easat-Prussia, district of Stallup�hnen.
