Hello list,
Again I turn to you in hopes of deciphering a city/town in Mecklenburg Schwerin.
I've been researching the JOERS/JORS/JURS family here in Chicago for my cousing and have found a place of birth listed in old church records from the 1860's.
The name of the town is listed with three different spellings. They are:
SEELDORF/SELDORF/SEHLDORF
I have tried locating this place through the FHL and Mapquest.de but no luck.
Would appreciate any and all help. Thanks again for such a great list!!
