In most cases they just give you the age of the passengers and that they
came from "Germany".. what does this help you ??
Very seldom you get the actual place where the came from..
Well, you are ALL on the wrong track...
Once you have exhausted all sources in your home country, you should
go right to the place in Germany, where your ancestors came from..
I know there is a lot of work involved, but as they say in Germany :
"Ohne Flei�, kein Preis"..
If you go to: http://meta.genealogy.net/ and enter the surname of "Bollmann",
you will get a lot of hits..
Sure, it will be a lot of work to comb them all through, but your chances
to find a researcher with similar interests is a lot higher than just
relying on the passenger lists..
