Everyone is so kind. Now I have another question. On the 1920 US Census
record it looks like my 2nd great-grandmother Anna Kruse (Konerman) said she
was from "Brenshoff." This is crossed out and "Germany" inserted. I cannot
find Brenshoff on my maps nor even a place starting with "B" and ending with
"hoff." Since all of my grandmother's ancestors were from towns near
Osnabrück, I want to try Bissendorf. Is this the correct list for
Bissendorf? They were Catholic, if this helps. I will send more information
if this is the correct list.

Hello Beth, there are two Bissendorf in Lower Saxonary today. The one in the
Hannover region, the other in the Osnabrück region. Osnabrück is a catholic
region.
