After 3 years of searching, I've finally located my gggrandparents, Henry Foth and Elisabeth Asmann, in Ankum. The Catholic church records the marriage of Gerhard Heinrich Faut of Suttrup and Margaretha Elisabeth Asmann of Nortrup on 7 Feb 1872. Heinrich's parents were Gerhard Faul and Adelheid Maihaus (Meihaus) of Suttrup. Adelheid's 25 Apr 1870 death record indicates her father was Heinrich Maihaus and NN Brockhaus.
Elisabeth Assmann's parents were Friedrich Carl(?) Assmann and Margaretha Elisabeth Kemmlage (Kamlage) of Nortrup.
Would anyone have information about these individuals?
