hello
i am looking for any records concerning the family zeitz who i believe lived in mecklenburg 1800 - 1900.
my Ggrandfather, joseph richard zeitz, was born (nov) 1882 his father was william zeitz and the family came to england before 1914.
i understand that i have not given a great deal of information but we do not have a lot to work on.
we have a copy of his internment card for 1939 -1944 and it shows as he was born in germany, we also know that he was also interned 1914 - 1918 and we have contacted the red cross for some information, but that could take some time.
