Hello,
I am searching for details about my great grandmother, Wilhelminia Margarette Gerhardine “Minnie” Fahrenhorst, born 25 March 1871 in Brake, Unterweser, Niedersachsen. I believe her parents may be Hermann Henrich Fahrenhorst (b 1824) and Anna Lisettte Halfbrodt (1835-1876), but I don’t have any documentation and this may be incorrect. Minnie immigrated to the US (Kansas) around 1893 with another young girl (not sure if they were related) by the name of Anna Hashagen. Minne married Hinrich Anton Reinhard Fuhrken, born 7 Nov 1869 in Popkenhoge, Wesermarch. Anna married Johann D. Ficken.
If you have records that might be helpful on either the Fuhrken or Fahrenhorst families, please let me know the process to officially request/pay for documents.
