I am researching German ancestors who were from Osnabruck.
My oldest known parents is Johan Henrich.
Johan Henrich Ebstotter was maried 21/04/1768 in Osnabruck to Anna Maria Sieckerman, and Johan Henrich Eps died 08/05/1796 in Osnabruck.
They had a son Christoph Gabriel Eps born 09/11/1780 and baptised in St Johann Osnabruck. This son migrated to France and died 22/05/1853 in Paris.
Can anyone would help me to find the birth date and birth place of Johan Henrich ?
Why Christoph Gabriel came to France ?
At this time the name Eps was written Ebstotter. What means totter at the end of Johan's name ?
I don't know anything on Anna Maria.
