HelloI have joined this list in the hope of finding information on Elias Sudinck. Legend has it in my family that he survived a shipwreck off the Moray Firth in Scotland and married a Scottish girl. This would most likely have been in the 1700s. However, there are no records of him in Scotland, only a Benjamin Sudinck/Suding, who we presume to be the son of Elias. Given the surname, we also presume Elias was from Oldenburg. Are you able to assist with any information about Elias or the Sudincks?

a fist step could be a marriage of Werner Sudinck in the year 1668 at St. Laurentius , Langfoerden , district Vechta / Oldenburg. He marriued a Anna Dorothea Arkenau.
Sudinck is a name wich is situated in this area.
