Yes, that was intended. A lot of the German genealogists are of a more
settled age. Their English is either non-existent or it barely goes beyond
"thank you" and "please". Therefore I took your text and translated it into
German, so that we get the best possible response. I see that Frank
Scarbarth, a very nice gentleman that I had quite some e-mail communications
with already, has respondend referring to me. Unfortunately the very first
response was not that interesting. It is just a link to a pdf-document in
German about the catholic archives (Diözesanarchiv) that I already mentioned
to you.
I will translate any further responses and if OK with you I will send them
to your earthlink.net mailbox. I won't send anything else to that account -
promised!
