me.
I am looking for information on the parents of Dietrich Macke, born about
1829 in Dinklage. He arrived in the US before 1851. He filed his intent to
become a US Citizen on 28 Jun 1851.
On 23 Oct 1853 Dietrich Macke married Mary Becker at St. Mary Catholic
Church in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Dietrich and Mary had 6
children.
Dietrich Macke died about 1866 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The granddaughter of
Dietrich Macke married my grand uncle. If you have information on the

Welcome to the list. You've come to the right place. Hopefully, Werner Honkomp will read this post. I checked his list of immigrants from that area and there were numerous Mackes on it. It sounds like you have quite a bit of information on Dietrich when he came to Cincinnati, but given your email address, I don't believe you live in Cincinnati. I'll poke around and see if there is anything I can add to this discussion.
