Hello,
I am stuck on an ancestor and am hoping someone could possibly help with
this.
I have not been able to find much information on my ancestor, Christoph
Friedrich Schulz. His death record is found in the 1817 Hammelwarden burial
records and reads as follows:
Christoph Friedrich Schulz, Chirurgus und Wittwer in Bracke, geburtig aus
Celle, Kirchspiel Rike im Hannöverschen.
I’m not finding a parish by the name of Rike on Meyersgaz.org. There is an
entry for ‘Celle, Lüneburg, Hannover, Preussen’, but I’m unsure if it is
the same place.
Any possible help would be appreciated.
