Could someone please tell me where to find records dealing with
Christerfelder area maybe found? I'm trying to locate baptismal records
for Carl WOIWOD (WOIWOOD) son of August WOIWOD and Wihelimina ROST born
in Christerfelder 14 Aug., 1859. He immigrated to the United States
circa 1883 and settled in Hancock County, Iowa. Thankyou.

S. Krzepela, Spis miejscowosci i rodow ziemanskich wojewodsta
pomorskiego (Krakow, 1925), gives three entries that might be
appropriate, giving the German name first and Polish second:
Christfelde = Krostkowo
Christinenfelde = Przyrowa
Christkower-Kaempe = Krostowska Ke~pa
His detailed entries are:
Krostkowo also Krystkowo (Christfelde), in the powiat of Swiec, in the
parish of Gruczno [page 56].
Przyrowa (Christinenfelde), in the powiat of Tuchola, in the parish of
Gostyczyn [page 96].
Krostowska Ke~pa (Christower-Kaempe), in the powiat of chel~m, no
parish given [page 56].
