I am Bob Marhenke from Lincoln Nebraska, I think I have subscribed
properly now and I need to check for sure.
My interest is Johann Joachin Schmidt, who was born in Schwaan, Schwerin,
Rostock, Mecklenburg on 2 Apr 1830 and came to the US in 1849 and on to
Illinois and then to Nebraska.
The mere fact that his name was Johann Joachin Schmidt makes it rough in
researching. Any help appreciated and a big thanks to those who replied
