das Problem mit der Ortssuche "in Braunschweig" war nicht von mir, sondern von Herrn Kreye. Ich hatte als "alter" Braunschweiger lediglich darauf geantwortet.

Dear Thomas Eggeling,
I havn't seen the above surname previously but is a surname of one of my
ancestors - a Luise Eggeling who married a Friedrich Thiele from Dieckhorst
I believe in 1816. Some of the decendents of these two people eventually
settled in the Emden and Leer area.
Do you know if there could be any possible connection of your family with
the above Luise Eggeling?
