Does anyone on the list have access to the book "Nachweise genealogischer
Quellen im Gebiet der ehemaligen Preu�ischen Rheinprovinz,
Teil 1, Kirchenbuchbest�nde Familienb�cher und Verkartungen? I have
traced my ancestors back to the late 1700's in the area near Rees
and the book was recommended to me as a source of information to verify the
data that I have found. My knowledge of German is very
limited, but the sub title seems to indicate that it might be a listing or
index of church and family books, is that correct? I am looking for
information
on the SCHMITZ, DIESFELD, TENBRINCK and K�STER Families in REES, ESSERDEN,
GROIN, BIENEN, MILLINGEN, ANDROP,
GREITHERBUSCH and PRAEST. Any information I can get about the book will be
greatly appreciated.
