yes, our society transcribes the informations from the Kirchenbücher. But the records belongs to the church and only the church can allow you to take pictures of the records. You can take the email address archiv-okr@ev-kirche-oldenburg.de.
I don't know if there is some literature about the living in that time in that region. Maybe another user of this list can help you.
