Hello List,
an example how personal data, which might give in a wider sense genealogical information about a person by documenting, he was alive at a certain date, meanwhile go around the world I found today in the supermarket LIDL around the corner. As a special offer they sold today old Ameri-can stock papers for collecting, two for 2,99 Euro. Different to most German stocks on each was given the name of the buyer, I noted two, which I thought had been on the list:
BOLAND, Detta helded ten 5$ parts of the nominal capital of the Rockwell Standard Corporation Dec.10.1964, cancelled Oct.30.1967 and BUSENBURG, James Robert had invested one hundred $ in the KING'S DEPARTEMENT STORE Corp. on 01.14.1974.
So we can state, they must have been living 1964 and 74. For this period in time probably better genealogical informations are given in general, but could imagine much older papers, if of same information could be of some worth for future research methods.
