So I believe that They must have applied for an emigration permit

town of Koeslin/Koszalin , in the year of 1872.It seems that the emigration records were not saved.
They and Their three children sailed from Bremen Germany , and
arrived
at N.Y , New York on the ship " Christel " on 11 May 1872 , then They went
to Oswego N.Y., then Cuba , Crawford county , in the state of MO.Their Surname was listed as "HACK" in the ship records
I have often wondered if He could have been baptized with a different
given
name, and that is why I can't find any records of His birth.
I have searched for Him as " HAACK" and/or "HACK" surname
