this wooden board was part of a round lid of a wooden chest,
an antiquarian replaced it with a flat lid in order to sell it
does this ring a bell in somebodies memory ?

This family is listed on ancestry.com having arrived September 23, 1880
in Baltimore on the ship: Hermann from Bremen.

ancestry has the family listed as "Beiresmann" but it is clearly Reinersmann.
Bernard and Elisabeth Reinersmann and their seven children along with a
Heinrich and Maria Reinersmann (presumably his parents).

By 1900 the family shows up in Ward 4 of Covington, Kenton Co, Kentucky.

Diane Shotton (deshotton@aol.com) lists this family in her ancestry.com
family and thus, I have copied her on this posting to this message board. I
am sure she would at least appreciate a copy of the picture if not the actual item.

Since she did not list Bernard's place of birth, this will be a real find for her
since it indicates that the family was from Lintern.

All my best,

Bob Behnen
Kirksville, Missouri

Thank you for the information on Reinersmann family! I would appreciate the photo and other information.
Best,
Diane
