August Mielke b 1851 came to the US and dropped off his daughter Bertha b 1893. And he returned to Germany. Family history has it that he made several trips to the US accompanying people.

I am interested in knowing who Paul is, what happened to August and what happened to Berthe's brothers (names unknown) and family.
Family lore says that Berthe's mother died when Berthe was young and August remarried.
The addition "Britische Zone" was used after World War II in the late fourties and the
numbers (here 21b) too. Those numbers were used for several years after World War II.
