Hello. I am asking for help identifying where in Germany my ancestor comes from. I have searched on the auswanderin list but cannot find him there. So, this is a final attempt before I start looking for other "Oldenburg"s in Germany.

Born in "Oldenburg" on Oct 20, 1868
Immigrated to the US (Kansas) around 1883 - 1885.
If anyone has any information, I would be very grateful.
