I am one of the Stebens family historians, and Ernest B Stoppel married Lola Stebens.
Ernest B Stoppel was born in Wakeeney KS and married Lola Stebens. They lived in Garden City KS. However, I understand that the Stoppel family had previously come from Illinois. As I work primarily on the Stebens descendants, I do not have reliable data on the Stoppel family prior to the birth of Ernest, but your information will spark some new research for us.
