A Wedemeyer aus Fredelsloh

Hallo Liste,
    I am an American searching for information on Friedrich Wilhelm Wedemeyer, who was born in either Fredelsloh or Moringen around 1825, oo Franciska Bauer aus Hildescheim vor 1851, and emmigrated to New York with an infant daughter Adolphine in 1852. He joined the U.S. army, as did his sons. He is the grandfather of the famous American General Albert Wedemeyer who attended the Berlin Kriegsakademie, and then was our chief strategist during the World War in the 1940's.
    Any information will be greatly appreciated.

      Have you looked at the LDS records for Fredelsloh? There are some
civil records that go back to 1808. There are church records, both in
Fredelsloh and Moringen, that are later.
