My ancestors were from the Fichtelgebirge area and Wunsiedel. The name was once Küschwert (various spellings). From the original name it then became Küspert & Kispert in the Fichtelgebirge area. My specific branch migrated to Wertheim am Main in the 1500s where it was Kueschwerdt and then Kisebert, and Kisibert and finally to Kisseberth/Kisabeth.
In looking at this partial list I see many listings of Kueschwert and similar spellings.
Can someone translate to me in English when the records will be completed? I am looking for my specific Küschwert ancestor Hans Küschwert, father to Georg who was a Gastwirt in Wertheim.
