Has anyone done any research on the town of Vechta (Fechte), in
Niedersachsen (Oldenburg), Germany (Hanover)? I’d like = to find=20 out any
historical emigration information on that town if you have=20 it!
I’m looking for information on an Anton Witte that was born = there=20 approx.
1812-1823 in Vechta, baptized Catholic. He moved to Iowa, USA = approx.=20 1840?
