Good afternoon
I am trying to find ancestors who reportedly emigrated from Oldenburg.
Bernhard Heinrick WITTE in May 1841
Johann Christian WITTE in 1847
They emigrated to London first and then to New Zealand
We have been led to believe they were brothers - but Bernhard gives his father as Bernard on his marriage certificate and Johann's father is listed as Relf on his death certificate.
I have been unable to find any mention of a Relf in any researching about the Witte name that I have done.
What help can you give me
