My grandfather, William Joseph Pasch, was born between 1865 and 1869 in
Rostock and was a rigger on whaling ships going to Greenland, Labrador
and Nova Scotia. He joined the US Navy in 1888 in Boston MA which he
left in 1894.
He married Julia Lyons in New York City in 1896 where he lived till his
death in 1941. He left no family information but might have had a
brother Henry. He also was listed on one record as being born in
Stralsund Pommern. Any help will be appreciated.
