Hi my name is Janice and i'm a german member of the Neidenburg /
Gruenfliess "Willamowski" clan ... I really like to find more about
my family but my research isn't quite successful. Maybe someone can
fix my missing link?
Well, as far:
My Grandfather "Helmut Willamowski" died 1965 due to TBC in east
germany and so i never had a chance to know him. His wife "Marianne
Jentsch", my grandma could not fix this leck of knowledge - also not
his 4 childreen - my mother and uncles and aunts.
Helmut had have 2 Brothers "Günther Wilms !!", "Gerhard Willamowski"
and a sister "Ruth Alisch". But all died in England (Hamshire) or
Westgermany (Ratingen and Lüdenscheidt). I knew them and their kids
but also: no success in closing the missing link.
So the last thing i know: The parents of Helmut were: "Wilhelm
Willamowski" and Amalie Kossmann.
The whole family lived near Neidenburg and moved later to Grosszoesen
(east germany) (all except Gerhard, he never came back from england
after war)) - my grandpa died and the family moved to west germany.
So, is there anyone who could tell my about "Wilhelm Willamowski's"
or "Amalie Kossmann's" parents, sisters, brother or grandparents?
Maybe, and this would be a really pleasure for my mother: Maybe
someone knew my grandpa "Helmut" ?!
