We have a family that comes from a town named "Wieldlah" in Hannover.

We are hoping someone may be able to point us to this area.

this could be Wiedelah in the Harz mountain are, today it belongs to a town
called Vienenburg.
There is some reference in English to the general area, not exactly on the
village Wiedelah on http://www.mountains.harz.be/ a little essay in Germna
on http://www.harz.be/in.the.nature/wiedelah.htm

     There is a town spelled Wiedelah which is near Vienenburg. You can
find it on Mapquest.com. Furthermore, the LDS have films for that town. I
hope you live near a LDS center:
