Where is the Lutheran church that served Neu Kentzlin?

On the LDS website, familysearch.org, in the library catalog, you can enter
''Demmin'', and you will find several entries for records for that Kreis.
Your town of Neu Kentzlin isn't mentioned directly, but there's a chance that
the records are wrapped up in one of the larger towns. Kr Demmin is part of
Stettin. From scanning my sources, it looks like there was a major
reorganization of villages and Kreis in 1939. Kreis Demmin is located just south of
the southern border of Kr Grimmen in Stralsund. This total area is known as
Pomerania, and was right in the middle of the Soviet zone of occupation (
East Germany). I would imagine that a lot of records didn't survive the war.

If you ''google'' Kr Demmin and/or NeuKentzlin, you might find some websites
that give you information on
what records might be available in archives or are still in the individuals
churches.

Good luck.

Just found that my GGparents lived at Neu Kentzlin in Kr. Demmin in 1860. I want to get the microfilms from the LDS for the nearest churches. But where would they have been located? The LDS site does not recognize Neu Kentzlin.

Neu Kentzlin is found at this location:

(all on one line). Neu Kentzlin is the one marked just "Kentzlin" at this zoom level.

Nearby towns include Lindenberg, Stavenhaven, Ivenack, and Hohenbollentin. You'll have to check if any of those have a parish, and if they include Neu Kentzlin.
