Where is the Lutheran church that served Neu Kentzlin?

Dear Listers,

Just found that my GGparents lived at Neu Kentzlin in Kr. Demmin in 1860. I want to get the microfilms from the LDS for the nearest churches. But where would they have been located? The LDS site does not recognize Neu Kentzlin.

I think the church of Neu Kentzlin (Kr. Demmin) is in Lindenberg. It is 2 km
east of Neu Kentzlin.
Kr. Demmin further ist a part of germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern)

Hi Fred,

very spontaeous (and probably incorrect) hint:
Neu Kentzlin is in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and has been German ever since.
Although in the former DDR I doubt that any LDS records exist.
You will more likely get information at the local offices in Kentzlin.
