I am researching my grandfather, Herman Theodore Henry or Heinrick Wessels, who was born in Jever, Oldenburg, Germany August 24, 1891 to Harm G. Wessels (born about 1865) and Sophia Harms or Harrus. He immigrated to the United States in 1906 with his brother Karl or Carl. Karl was born approx 1890. I know he was Lutheran but I don't know what parrish he belonged to.
Any help or suggestions that you can give me will be much appreciated.
