In case I could help I've looked through all the photocopy images I made
when researching the court addresses and church records of the Liebenberg 74
Area between late 1700's to 1860 for my families. From the partial court
lists I have, there were various people with the surname Tappe resident in
the village of Leve/Lewe in the 1830's.
Unfortunately, "Wendt" is not included on any sheet, excepting as a
witness/sponsor to a christening of Johann Heinrich Christoph Tarken on
February 8th 1781 in the parish register of Grossen & Kleinen Doehren. The
sponsor was Maria Christina Gerken, wife of MATHIAS WENDT.
This map is rather small but does show the names of the villages within a
short walk and underneath it are given distances between points which might
be helpful
