there are 3 Wendhausen in today Niedersachsen, two of them in the former Kingdom of Hannover and one in the former Duchy of Braunschweig. Yours is the Wendhausen near Hildesheim (former Amt Marienburg > Kreis (county) Marienburg > Kreis Hildesheim today).
