Hello Ernst,
Although the "Rastede" Wempes might not be related to my wife's Wardenburg ancestors, I followed your suggestion to purchase the Rastede CD.
One never knows, right ?
You answered my question about Johann Diedrich Wempe, but I still don't know who his parents are. My guess is Johann Wempe and Gesche Helen Oeltjen. But nobody really seems to know anything about this couple.
Another question is whether there will ever be a Wardenburg CD, like the Rastede one. Would be very helpful for the many Dutch researchers with ancestry in Wardenburg.
