Thanks for the reply. The way it was written, I assumed Diddinghousen
was the village and Wessenfelt was the region.
In your examples, Diedenshausen appears to me to be the closest in
pronunciation, Would it be close to either Westerfeld or Westenfeld??
We are just starting to research this branch or the family and we have
