I am searching for information about the following family:
Johan WEHEBRINCK oo Anna Maria Adelheidt HERZOG in Damme on 27 Jan 1753.
Their children:
Herman Henrich *7 Feb 1754
Maria Adelheidt *1755
Johan Henrich *12 Mar 1758
Johan WEHEBRINCK died 4 Jan 1758, and his widow remarried Gerhard Heinrich KRÖGER 3 Nov 1762.
Does anyone have further information about the this family and their three children? I am particularly interested in Herman Henrich and Joannes Henrich.
Any information is very much appreciated.

Hello Linda,
the only what I have is this emigration notice:
Wehebrink, Herm, Sohn von Lukas Wehebrink, bei Wehebrink, emigrated 1838 Ihorst (Holdorf)
Wehebrink was a farm in Holdorf-Ihorst (before 1803 a part of the parish Damme)
But there also two other Wehebrink farms in Damme-Borrighausen and in Damme-Dümmerlohausen.

I'm looking into the possibility that for one reason or another, these two sons, Herman Henrich and Johan Henrich, took on or inherited the name Burwinkel. This would have happened before 1783.
I have a Johan Henrich Burwinkel, who lived in Heeke (Alfhausen) and married Katharine Maria Beckermann in 1783 in Rieste. His brother, Herman Henrich Burwinkel, died in Bramsche 29 Jan 1819. Herman's death record states the parent's names were Johan Henrich Burwinkel and Anna Adelheid Herzog of Heeke. Both Herman Henrich and Johan Henrich's birth years fit within the birth years of the two Wehebrinck sons.
So I was trying to determine if there was further information on the two Wehebrinck sons or their parents that would negate the possibility that they moved to Heeke and changed names.
It's a mystery where this Burwinkel family originated.
