My Great Grandfather was Christian Wilhelm Warnecke, b. 8 Feb. 1832, Hannover. He marr. 11 May 1862 in Alton, Madison Co., IL. Rosina Christine Abell, She b. 15 Mar. 1845, Hannover. She was Catholic and he was Lutheran. They attended Salem Lutheran church and all the children were baptized at Salem. I would really like to find the parents of both. I do not know where in Hannover either was born, but it would be very helpful.
