bei dem Vornamen Tinke f�llt mir nur Katharina ein - allerdings weitaus
�fter in der Form "Trinke".
Kann das auch passen?

Ich glaube dass du hast recht.
In meinem Database finde ich: Trinke, An Trinke, An Trin, Trin Margret, An
Trineke.
Das "-ke" finde ich auch am ende andere vornamen, z.B. Marieke, Anneke.
Veilleicht ist "-ke" ein Suffix, wie "-i" (Willi, usw.).
Ich finde auch, dass Katharina ist einmal-zweimal Katrina geschrieben.
Also, veilleicht Katrina, Katrinke, Trinke???
For those who do not speak or write bad German as I do, but who may be
interested, this discussion was about the origin of the name "Tinke".
Kersten Klemme thinks it might be a nickname for "Katrina" and perhaps more
often written "Trinke".
I suggested that he may be right, and added that the -ke ending seems to be
a suffix, as I found names like Marieke and Anneke. Maybe it's like -i in
German, -y in English (Willi, Willy). I also found Katharina was sometimes
spelled Katrina. So the evolution: Katrina, Katrinke, Trinke, Tinke.
Could be.

Die Endung "-ke" entspricht dem hochdeutschen "-chen" und ist also ein Verkleinerungsform - wie Haus/Häuschen.
