I have been working through:"Altpreuisches
evangelisches Pfarrerbuch von der Reformation bis zur
Vertreibung im Jahre 1945, Bd. 1" by "Friedwald
Moeller" and came across a few
interesting names / individuals / data. Now I am
looking for further information, respectively contact
to their descendants to find out if there are
genealogical relationships.

Hans-Christoph Surkau
Hallo Hans-Christoph,
in my famlie are 2 or 3 pastros.
My grandfather Theodor Zirkwitz was born 1863, 20. March in Wiskitki and his
father Heinrich Z. born 1829, 10. July in Kalisch
From 1648 till 1944 I found a lot of famliy members in Fischhausen.
It can be that there was another Pastor. Have you maybe found the name
"Zirkwitz"?
Yours Ellen from Germany
Sorry Ellen,
there is no ZIRKWITZ or name with compatible writing or spelling in the
database. I tried all "Z" but also SCZ / SZ / CZ but I found nothing. But the
database only covers protestant priests in EAST- and WESTPRUSSIA.
KALISCH belonged from its origins to the Kingdom of Poland until the last
polonian division in 1793 when it became prussian as part of the province
"Sdpreussen". 1807 it became part of the duchy of Warschau - belonging to
the Kingdom of Saxonia - and 1815 until 1830 it wqas part of "Kongrepolen"
and the Kingdom of Poland again. Until 1919 Kalisch was part of the russian
part of Poland.
Im sorry that I could not help you more.
Yours
Hans-Christoph
