Villages of the 1850's

Does anyone know of an internet address to locate
small villages in the mid 1800's that are no longer on
a map.
I'm looking for Krenzliner Huette, Krems or Kreims,
and Loisow...at least that's what the words look like
on the various German documents I found.
  Many thanks, Dottie

Dottie,
I located the current name of Loisow somewhat by accident. It is currently
called Leussow. When I viewed the microfilm for Leussow I saw my ancestors
listed and the town on the records was Loissow so I assume that is the same
one you are looking for. What family names are you looking for in that
town? My surname is Thies(s).

Thanks for the information, Grace. My family line is
WEINBERG but one of the other family lines that tie in
distantly are AULERICH & KNAPP. Dottie
