Which evangelical parish would people have belonged to if they lived at
Ahlsen, Kreis Luebbecke in the early 1800s? I've tried using the IGI Batch
Number Index on the Internet, but the "A" section is not working, and I can't
access Ahlsen. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi,
According to the "Gemeindelexikon fuer die Provinz Westfalen" from 1909,
Ahlsen-Reineberg [Ahlsen is not alone] had the evangelic parish in
Huellhorst, Catholic in Luebbecke, Standesamtsbezirk and Amt in Huellhorst.
Footnote has "Ahlsen 58 u. 306" which I think means that there were 58
"Inhabited buildings" and 306 residents in Ahlsen.
The Huellhorst church records have been filmed by the LDS.
