Hello

I am looking for information on my step great grandmother, Agnes Urlage.
She was born on 27 May 1854 in Oldenburg Germany, possibly near Damme. She
arrived in New York, USA on 10 Oct 1873. She married Clemens Hagedorn about
1876 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and they had five children. She died 12 May
1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and is buried at St. Joseph German Cemetery,
Cincinnati. Agnes Urlage was Catholic.

Is there anyone that could find where she was baptized and who her parents
are? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Nancy,
I checked the church records of Damme around 1854 without success.
I assume Agnes Urlage came from Holdorf, for this I have no church records, but some emigration records:

Urlage, Arnd, Dienstknecht 1 1846 Holdorf
Urlage, Catharina 1 1845 Holdorf
Urlage, Heinrich, Familie - katholisch 7 1845 Fladderlohausen
Urlage, Margaretha, bei Lampe-G��ling in Holdorf 1 1844 Holdorf

On the other hand also in Lohne-Brockdorf (near the border to Holdorf) lived three Urlage families. There is also the origin farm of Urlage.
