Unterntief - Mueller, Anna Margaretha

Hallo Ahnenforscher,

wer betreibt Familienforschung in Unterntief und ist auf den Namen "MUeLLER"
gestossen..?

Ich stecke im Moment leider fest :frowning:

Folgende Angaben haette ich:

Anna Margaretha MUeLLER heiratete Johann Friedrich KANBERGER (oder Kamberger)
Sohn von Georg Friedrich KANBERGER und Christina Barbara KUCH.
Johann Friedrich wurde am 1. April 1762 (berechnet) geboren.
Er starb am 12. Maerz 1844 in Trautskirchen.

Die 1.Ehe war nicht in Trautskirchen; die Familie ist danach (um 1800)
erst zugezogen. Seine 1. Ehefrau war eine geborene MUeLLER aus Unterntief

Kirchenbuch Beerdig.-Martikel ev-luth Pfarramt Trautskirchen:
Die 1.Ehefrau Anna Margaretha MUeLLER starb offenbar vor Zuzug nach
Trautskirchen, vor 1804, noch unbekannten Orts.

Sohn: J. Heinrich Kamberger.

So ich hoffe Ihr koennt mir einen Tipp geben.
Welches Pfarramt ist eigentlich fuer Unterntief zustaendig?

Es gruesst Euch, Dieter

Greetings from Germany

Frauke

Hallo,

My grandfather came from Wallenfels (Oberfranken) and I (almost) met his
cousin, Babette Stoecker while visiting.

Gene

HI Gene,

my "Muellers" came from Unterfranken. They emmigrated in the 1920s and
settled down in Cleveland, Ohio.
I have the address from ca. 1930. Do you know any possibilities to
Find their children with this old address?

Greetings from Germany

So many of 'us'!

Hallo Frauke,

Cleveland, often 'east' in the U.S., (like Pennsylvania), was home to many
'Dutch' families. Officially, Holland is the land of Dutch people. During
the days of mass immigration from Europe, 'Deutsch' was incorrectly
pronounced 'Dutch' for some of the new population. A well-known group was
referred to as "Pennsylvania Dutch". (Also typical, I believe, of the Amish
folk in America)

Anyway, 'so many Muellers'! 50 years ago, the phone companies 'published'
everyone's information in the phone books. So many Muellers, could have
filled it's own book! Beginning with "M" (center of the alphabet), it
occupied the middle of all directories. So many salesman, etc., allways
opened books in the center! (Not as many Muellers around now, as far as I
can tell)

Mueller means 'a miller' and is pronounced nearly the same as Miller, which
is the most common variant here in the U.S. Lots of immigrants were farmers,
and now the U.S. has 'MANY' streets called 'Miller Road'.

Cleveland is very far from where I live (west of Chicago, IL). If you wish,
I could try some searches with your name and address info. And, where are
you living now. I was stationed in Nuernberg in 1969 (U.S.Army).

In some of my 'loose' searches, I think there was an Anna Margaretha from my
grandfathers' ancestry.

I'm not familiar with the name 'Frauke'. Please explain, as it has 'Frau' in
it.

Vielen Dank,

Gene
