Sorry, Turley isn't a name that I'm familiar with.
Sometimes there are church newspapers (churches in the US) that will have
obits & will mention where a person was born. If you know what church they went
to, & by that I mean what denomination, you can see if there is an archives.
Then contact the archives & see if they have any records for the church your
ancestors attended. When you call or write to them, be sure you give them all
the information you have on the people - names & dates, etc.
If you know what denomination to inquire about but don't know how to find out
about their archive, try asking at a church of that denomination in your
area. If there isn't one, check the website www.churchangel.com This is a
great site that lists churches in almost every town in every state. It gives
the address & phone number. Sometimes a church also has a website link. And
sometimes those websites will mention archives.
