I have been trying to verify if a town named, "Krumbach" was within the region of Swabia, Wuerttemburg, Germany in the early 1800's. I believe I have located it's physical location today, in what is now Bavaria. If this information is correct, my GGGGrandfather, Jacob Fredrick Free ( or Frei ) would have been born there in 1810 and migrated to Penn. United States about 1836. Does anyone know where I might find a map of that area of Germany during that time frame?

the one Krumbach.
There is a Fraenkisch-Crumbach in Hessen Germany but there may be others with the name Krumbach. Try Mapquest for the town
and may come up with many and need the area where you think they came from.
